The Visionary
Pastor Michael Z. Skillings is the Visionary of Healing Word Christian Center. God has truly anointed Pastor Mike to preach the gospel to the poor; he has been called out to preach a Word of healing to the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Pastor Mike is committed to labor for God with love so that men and women may be perfect and thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Healing Word Christian Center is a ministry founded on biblical principles. 1 Corinthians 3:11 - For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. We are servants of the Most High God who strive to serve all people in the Spirit of Excellency. The Word of God has been displayed in many areas of the ministry. Through Jesus King of the Street Evangelism Ministry; feeding ministry (feeding over 1,000 monthly); clothing ministry (providing free clothing to those less fortunate); visiting the sick through the hospital and shut-in ministry; bringing the Word of God monthly in three prisons; and declaring the Word through a previous radio broadcast. The Healing Word of God is being proclaimed to reach the community and our nation.
The Vision St. Matthew 25:35-36
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me:
I was sick, and ye visited me:
I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Habakkuk 2:2
The vision has been written down and made plain, so that as one body, with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we may run with it and the vision will be fulfilled at the appointed time.
